A Day At The Park

Here are some photos from the park the other day, it was a beautiful 77 degrees!
I'm sorry to say we are off to the frozen tundra (Wisconsin) tomorrow so my next blog will be pictures of us freezing to death. I think I prefer the Arizona weather much more.

Zoo Lights

We went to Zoo Lights this past weekend with Robin, Heidi, and Levi. I had never been so it was really fun to go. I thought they did an excellent job decorating the place with really pretty displays. It was alittle cold so we had to bundle Emme up in the snow suit my mom had gotten her for when we go to Wisconsin next week. She looked so funny in it because it was really thick and fuzzy and alittle big on her so she looked like she was a year old since the thing was so fuzzy! It kept her really warm though and we thought she looked like a stuffed animal, see for yourself...
Emme really enjoyed looking at all the lights, she was mesmorized and stayed awake through the whole thing. I'm glad she is a nosy baby sometimes because then she doesn't miss out on fun things like Zoo Lights.

Bumbo Seat

Emme has now graduated to the Bumbo Seat since she can hold her head up very well. I wanted to wait until she had that down pretty good before putting her in it. It's so funny to see this little person sitting upright in a seat playing with toys and looking at us. Don't get me wrong, it's not like we haven't thought of her as a person before, but now she seems so much more grown up that she can sit in her little chair for awhile and keep herself busy. She really looks tiny when she is sitting in it however, it's really funny. She likes it for about 5 minutes and then she gets alittle sick of it because she wants to be able to kick around but I'm sure she will tolerate it more and more as she gets older. She kind of has a "what the heck" look on her face, but she really did like it! :)
Also, we had a doctor's appointment today and she now weighs 13 lbs, 11 oz. so our bug is getting big! The pediatrician said everything looks great with her and we will see her next month for her 4 month check up. Can't wait to see how much she will grow.
